'We were once forced to leave Donald Trump's hotel' - One Direction

One Direction were once forced to leave their hotel by business magnate-turned-U.S. President Donald Trump for refusing to meet with his lawyer’s daughter, according to Niall Horan.

During an interview with Rollacoaster magazine in 2017, former One Direction star Liam Payne claimed that the hotelier “kicked us out of his hotel once” because he wanted them to meet his daughter and they refused.

Teen who bragged about murder on Facebook gets life sentence

A teenager who gunned down a chef then boasted about the murder on social media has been sentenced to life in prison.
Raheem Benson, 18, from Colorado, was ordered to serve life in prison Friday in the death of 33-year-old Nicholas Lewis in Englewood, news station KMGH reported.

Benson allegedly targeted Lewis at random while the chef was walking home from a convenience store in October 2016. Prosecutors said the then-16-year-old Benson shot him three times, including in the heart. Lewis was found lying on his back on the sidewalk and rushed to a hospital, where he later died.

Mark Zuckerberg's Instagram launches IGTV app for long videos to rival YouTube

Facebook owned social network, Instagram launched a mobile app on Wednesday called IGTV dedicated to user-generated videos up to an hour long, intensifying the competition for consumers’ time among ad-supported streaming services such as YouTube.

The service plans to feature videos from rising internet celebrities, artists and pets, some of whom have tens of millions of social media followers.

“Teens are now watching 40 percent less TV than they did five years ago,” Instagram Chief Executive Kevin Systrom said at an event to announce the launch in San Francisco. “It’s time for video to move forward and evolve.”

Los Angeles woman files lawsuit against Chris Brown alleging she was repeatedly raped and sexually assaulted at his home last year

A Los Angeles woman filed a lawsuit on Wednesday against Chris Brown and a fellow rapper, alleging she was repeatedly raped and sexually assaulted at Brown’s home during a drug- and alcohol-fueled party last year.

The woman, identified only as Jane Doe, said she was lured to the singer’s house following a concert at a nightclub on February 23, 2017 and was raped several times by Lowell Grissom, who performs under the name Young Lo. She also alleges that another unidentified woman at the party assaulted her, forcing her into performing oral sex.
