Alleged forgery: Saraki, Ekweremadu, two others granted bail, case adjourned to July 11th
ustice Yusuf Haliru of the Federal High Court Abuja has granted bail to
Senate President Bukola Saraki, his deputy Ike Ekweremadu, former Clerk
of the National Assembly, Salisu Abubakar Maikasuwa and his deputy,
Benedict Efeturi. Saraki, Ekweremadu and the two others all pleaded not
guilty when the charges of forgery of the senate order was read to them.
Part of their bail condition is that their sureties, two each, must
have landed property in Maitama, Asokoro, Garki or Wuse or be remanded
in Kuje prison. The case has been adjourned to July 11th..
