Photos: Suspected Militants block Benin to Lagos expressway, allegedly play football to delay motorists

 Some social media users are alleging that suspected militants blocked the Benin to Lagos expressway this afternoon. This reportedly happened for close to two hours and no security operative showed up to challenge them within that time. According to an eyewitness Ehiwario Jude, "the Self acclaimed militant group mounted a road block stopping vehicles from moving, with the excuse that they are playing football on the road until the government pays them." He however noted that the Nigerian Army later came to intervene. See more photos
