Justice John Tsoho, the judge handling the trial of the leader of the
Indigenious People of Biafra IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has returned the case
file to the Chief Justice of the Federal High Court, Ibrahim Auta, for
reassignment. Tsoho asked for reassignment of the case following a
petition by the legal team of Nnamdi Kanu led by Chuks Muoma, alleging
that he was biased in its handling of Kanu's case.
Muoma said they have no confidence in Tsoho as they
believe he was not been fair to Kanu and was acting on the orders of the
Federal government.
While asking for reassignment, Tsoho said
“I have no interest in trying your matter and I will return it to the
CJ, but I will condemn the attitude of that counsel. I do not care if
you take your case to another planet”.
