A mother last Saturday, bid a sad farewell to her three children burned to death by her boyfriend in Hammanskraal, South Africa.
Bogosi Musana (12), Omphile Musana (4) and Obakeng Musana (3) were laid to rest in Ramotse, in a sombre ceremony.
According to Temba police spokesperson, Constable Herman
Moremi, the three boys went missing on 31 December after allegedly being
taken by their mother’s boyfriend.
He allegedly told her she was seeing them “for the last time”.
Moremi said that the remains of the children were found by a
passerby at Bosplaas West, near Temba. Their bodies were burned beyond
recognition.
“The person was observing a burnt car near a bush and noticed there were corpses inside,” said Moremi.
Family spokesperson, Phillip Mosana, said the family had accepted the incident.
An emotional Marokolong Primary School principal, Rahab Madumo, said Bogosi was a well-behaved boy who had respect for others.
“He was a very quiet child with a good academic record. He took part in music and was very committed to his school work,” he said.
A neighbour Maggie Motshwene said: “I knew Bogosi more than the other two … he was a respectful child.”
